- Click on the View tab, and choose the Options to open the Folder Options menu.
- While on the General tab, Find the Privacy settings and uncheck Show recently used files in Quick access and Show frequently used folders in Quick access.
- You can Clear File Explorer history as well.
- Press Apply and OK
- Done. In this way, you can prevent Windows 10 from displaying the recently and frequently used files and folders, in Quick Access and hence maintain your privacy.
