How to Choose the Best Charging Electronics for Yourself

The type of electronic that we use on a daily basis are charging electronics, and that’s because nearly everybody own portable devices such as smartphones that need recharging. Of course, a smartphone is just a single device that requires recharging of the many devices that we use. Since we have larger ones such as tablets, and laptops too.

The thing with charging electronics is that even though lots of people use them, we really don’t know about which ones are the best to use and which ones we should just skip altogether and that’s why in this article, I’m going to go over the main charging electronics that are best to use and how you should go about choosing what type of charging electronics are best for you.

Now, each of these categories of charging electronics is very useful, so you should definitely consider getting each type of them. That said, what this article is going to over is what you should look for in a specific charger field.

The first type of charging electronic that we’re going to go over are USB wall chargers, and the reason that wall charges are so special is that they’re used by basically everyone.

Wall Chargers

You’re likely most familiar with wall chargers because they’re actually one of the first devices that come with your new smartphone or tablet that you purchase. As a result, many people use that specific charging product for charging their wireless devices. It makes sense to do so too as wall chargers are easy to use and they’re also quite small.

Another part about wall chargers is that they can have quite a lot of USB charging ports. Wall chargers that have more than 4 USB charging ports are known as charging stations and can, therefore, charge lots of devices at once. It’s with those types of chargers that you’re able to keep in the living room or in a dorm room as a charging hub for family and friends to use. Also, wall chargers are one of the first charging electronics that are used to implement powerful charging technology such as Quick Charge and Power Delivery.

Portable Chargers

With all that said, you can probably see the main flaw with wall chargers and that would be that you have to keep your devices in a single place for charging. That can be a problem because most of us have places to go and things to do, and keeping a smartphone or devices charging in a single place can be quite frustrating and that’ what brings us to our second most useful charging electronic.

It’s portable chargers. A charger that you can take anywhere with you definitely sounds like something from a dream, but it is in fact real. Portable chargers have grown exponentially over the years and that’s because many people have found the value of owning one as you can charge your smartphone, tablet and even laptops wherever you are. Without a wall charger.

The variety of portable chargers has also grown a lot with there being many different capacity ranges on the market. Since there are portable chargers that have high capacities which can charge lots of devices many times to full power. At the same time, there’s the opposite, with their being power banks that have low capacities and these types of chargers are very useful if you want a portable power source which you don’t really have to care for.

Also, the great part about portable chargers is that there are quite a few on the market that has all the latest charging tech. There are a lot of portable chargers that use Quick Charge, which means that you can charge your compatible devices at a very fast rate while you’re on the go. At the same time, there are many chargers that also use an equally powerful charging technology known as Power Delivery that can charge some laptops, and that makes it so that you can charge your laptops without having to use an AC Outlet.

Car Chargers

We’re going to get into more detail about what Quick Charge and Power Delivery is, but the final charging electronic that can be the most useful to you are car chargers. It might sound strange to mention a car charger as being one of the most useful charging electronics on the market but at the same time, it makes sense to do so. The reason for is that is because most of us drive quite a lot. When we do drive and are headed to a place that we don’t know how to get to then we tend to use apps such as Google Maps or Waze. Those types of applications are very power intensive and that can cause them drain a lot of battery power.

Having a dead battery while you’re in a location that you have no idea where you are can be frustrating and for some, downright scary. It’s when you’re using a navigation app that using a car charger can very useful as you can charge while you drive and by the time you reach your destination you’ll actually have a charged up smartphone that’s ready to be used. Or if you already have a low battery and just need to quickly charge your device while you drive, then car charging has got your back their too.

To simply put, it’s much better to have a car charger, instead of not having a car charger at all.

New Powerful Charging Technologies

The two main powerful charging techs that we’ve mentioned quite a few times within this charger is Quick Chargee and Power Delivery.

Quick Charge

Quick Charge isn’t exactly new with most smartphones these days, or at least with lots of Android smartphones. As Quick Charge is not used with iPhones since Apple doesn’t use Qualcomm’s processors. That said, phones that are compatible with Quick Charge are able to charge at a faster rate when they are charged with a Quick Charge charging electronics that results in a higher voltage while keeping a continuous level of Amperage. As a result, you’re able to get faster charging for a continuous amount of time.

As widespread as Quick Charge is with many Android phones, the QC fast charging technology can’t really be used with all the portable devices that we use and that’s because Qualcomm is the owner of the charging technology.

Power Delivery

Instead, the next charging tech that you’re going to see a lot of portable devices using is known as Power Delivery. Power Delivery is used with USB-C and that is also a new charging standard that offers faster standard charging and it has a reversible charging port that allows you to input it into a device with either of its sides.

The most notable thing that has come from USB-C is the Power Delivery tech that’s being used with a few devices on the market. What Power Delivery is, is that it’s quite a powerful form of charging that can go up to 100W. It’s with Power Delivery that laptops can now use USB-C and it’s already happening with quite a lot of laptops on the market such as MacBooks are now using USB-C, and can charge with Power Delivery.

The main reason that USB-C and Power Delivery are growing at such a rapid rate is that there are now smartphones that are compatible with USB-C charging, and tablets too. This is basically making it so that we’re able to use just a single charger to charge all of our devices. The age of having to carry around a large power adapter with an AC cord is coming to an end and that’s all because of USB-C.

Universal powerful charging is the future.
