How to put iPhone 8 in DFU mode

DFU (Device Firmware Upgrade) mode allows all devices to be restored from any state. If recovery mode doesn’t work for you and you could not restore your iPhone, then you need to Put iPhone in DFU Mode. Here’s how to put iPhone 8 in DFU mode.

  2. Press and release the Volume Up button (1), press and release the Volume Down button (2), and press and hold the Side button (3) for 10 seconds until the screen turns black.How to put iPhone 8 in DFU mode
  3. While still holding the Side button (3), press and hold the Volume Down (2) button for 5 seconds, and then release the Side button (3) while continuing to hold the Volume Down button (3) for another 10 seconds. The screen should remain black.

How to Exit DFU Mode on iPhone 8
