How to take a screenshot on Windows PC

In this article we will show you how you can easily take a screenshot on Windows PC

 

Screenshot of entire screen – method 1
  • Open all your programs or windows you want to have on the screenshot
  • Just press Print screen button on your keyboard (PrtScr)
  • Screenshot of your desktop will be saved to your clipboard
  • Open Paint program or different image editor
  • Press Ctrl+V
  • Your screenshot will be copied into Paint program. You can modify it or save it

  • Open all your programs or windows you want to have on the screenshot
  • Just press Windows logo key + Print screen button on your keyboard
  • Your screenshot has been saved to folder This PC > Pictures > Screenshots

  • Select the window you want to capture
  • Press Alt + Print screen keys
  • Screenshot of your desktop will be saved to your clipboard
  • Open Paint program or different image editor
  • Press Ctrl+V
  • Your screenshot will be copied into Paint program. You can modify it or save it

  • Easiest way is tu use Snipping Tool, which is part of windows. Open it form Start > Windows Accessories > Snipping tool
  • When program is started press New
  • select the portion of your screen you want to capture – move your mouse on place you want to begin your screenshot, press and hold mouse button and move cursor to the final position. Release mouse button when you are happy with selection.
  • Now you can copy the selection by pressing Ctrl + C, or you can directly save the picture by choosing in menu File > Save as
